Holistic Ritual Healer | Ritual Bathing

A one-year training for anyone who wants to guide healing rituals using water, herbs, oils, and intention. Deepen your knowledge of Afro-centric spirituality and learn how to use ritual baths for spiritual healing, balance, and transformation.

You will attend 3 live practice days, monthly ZOOM sessions, and follow 10 online modules covering topics like women, men, children, grief, stress, and pregnancy. After completion, you'll be able to independently offer ritual baths to various target groups.

Topics include: the power of ritual bathing in Afro-Surinamese traditions, working with wiri’s, water and intention, sensing and directing energy, and self-care as a healer.

Learn to guide ritual baths for different target groups

The training consists of 3 live practice days (September 2025, April 2026, and September 2026), monthly ZOOM sessions, and 10 online modules — each focused on a specific group. You’ll learn how to perform and guide appropriate bath rituals for each group.

  • Your own family or household
  • Women with emotional blockages and trauma
  • Children or adolescents
  • Men with mental or emotional imbalance
  • People in mourning
  • Your own session (self-care for the healer)
  • People with chronic stress, trauma, or spiritual searching
  • Women with hormonal imbalance or life phase transitions
  • Men with identity or meaning-related questions
  • Pregnant women (including influence on the unborn child)

This hybrid year-long Holistic Ritual Healer | Ritual Bathing I program is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of leading healing rituals, with a strong focus on ritual bathing within Afro-Surinamese traditions. The goal is for you to learn how to use water, oils, medicinal herbs (wiris), natural elements, and intention to bring healing, balance, and spiritual depth to yourself and others.
